Alaskan Heartbeat felt so real. It was a sweet romance but also addressed big topics such as mental health and trauma. The author showcased these topics on page in a way that brought attention to serious issues but also furthered the plot well. Matt and Emma are a lovable couple that you can’t help but find yourself rooting for. The novel has twists that you won’t expect but work perfectly for the story. It’s a book well worth reading.
