I loved this book. The pace was perfect, smooth, steady, and gentle in a way that made it so easy to fall into. There was nothing jarring or distracting, it just flowed, and I found myself completely immersed in the love story unfolding between the characters. The romance felt almost too real at times. You could feel the quiet tension between Matt and Emma, the kind of connection that builds slowly and lets you ask for more. There is heart, there is grit, and there is healing. Book written with utter care that completely won me over.
